“Make Every Vote Count” campaign table events in Sudbury Jen, October 28, 2024November 1, 2024 In 2023, Fair Vote Canada asked followers to call, phone or visit our MP to request he or she vote YES in support of Motion 86 for a Citizens’ Assembly on Electoral Reform, which was an election promise of Prime Minister Trudeau going back to 2015. In late summer 2024, a group of Sudburians who follow Fair Vote Canada got together for two table events to spread the word about the benefits of Proportional Representation and some of the problems with the First Past The Post system. We are had great conversations with about 200 visitors and built up a bit of a mailing list of future volunteers.
